आज कलेक्ट्रेट टिहरी गढ़वाल के वीसी कक्ष में जिलाधिकारी टिहरी गढ़वाल डॉ. सौरभ गहरवार की अध्यक्षता में जिला बाल कल्याण समिति की बैठक आयोजित की गई। जिलाधिकारी ने कहा कि बाल कल्याण समिति द्वारा चिन्ह्ति वात्सल्य योजना, बालश्रम, पोक्सो पीड़ित, अनाथ व घर से भागे हुए बच्चों की देख-रेख एवं संरक्षण को लेकर सजग रहे। कहा कि इन बच्चों के बेहत्तर संरक्षण हेतु बाल कल्याण समिति अपना बैंक एकाउंट बना ले तथा अधिकारियों, जनप्रतिनिधियों, व्यापारियों एवं गणमान्य लोगों को स्वैच्छिक मदद हेतु बैंक एकाउंट नम्बर दे सकते हैं, ताकि अधिक से अधिक लोग इन बच्चों के संरक्षण हेतु अपना सहयोग/योगदान दे सकें। जिलाधिकारी ने अपने व्यैक्तिक अधिकारी को निर्देशित किया कि जब बाल कल्याण समिति का बैंक एकाउंट खुल जाये, उसमें 10 हजार की धनराशि डालवाना सुनिश्चित करें। जिलाधिकारी ने कहा कि ऐसे बच्चों के संरक्षकों के सम्मान एवं बच्चों को प्रोत्साहित करने हेतु कार्यक्रम प्लान करें। इसके साथ ही हाईस्कूल या इंटरमीडिएट में अच्छे अंक लाने वाले बच्चे को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए उसे कुछ धनराशि का चैक या उसकी एफडी बनाकर दे सकते हैं, इससे उन्हे नई अनुभूति का अनुभव होगा।
