देहरादून:- उत्‍तराखंड कांग्रेस प्रदेश अध्यक्ष गणेश गोदियाल ने विधानसभा चुनाव में पार्टी को मिली हार की जिम्मेदारी स्वीकार की है। उन्‍होंने कहा है कि होली के बाद हार की समीक्षा की जाएगी।
आपको बता दें कि विगत 10 मार्च को आए परिणामों में कांग्रेस को राज्‍य में 19 सीट मिली हैं। जबकि गणेश गोदियाल खुद भी पौड़ी की श्रीनगर सीट से नजदीकी मुकाबले में चुनाव हारे हैं।
शनिवार को उन्‍होंने देहरादून स्थित प्रदेश कांग्रेस कार्यालय में पत्रकारों से बातचीत की। जिसमें उन्‍होंने कहा कि अगर हाईकमान कहेगा तो वह सहर्ष पद छोड़ने को भी तैयार हैं।
वहीं सत्ता में वापसी की पूरी उम्मीद और जनता के बीच रहने के भरोसे के बावजूद जब हार नसीब हो वेदना कुछ गहरी हो जाती है। श्रीनगर सीट पर बहुत कम मतों के अंतर से पराजित प्रदेश कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष गणेश गोदियाल शुक्रवार को जब प्रदेश प्रभारी देवेंद्र यादव से रूबरू हुए तो यही वेदना आंखों से आंसू के रूप में छलक पड़ी।
उधर, कांग्रेस के दिग्गज नेताओं ने प्रत्याशियों से मुलाकात कर चुनाव परिणामों पर चर्चा की। हार के कारणों की पार्टी जल्द समीक्षा करेगी। कांग्रेस को सिर्फ 19 सीट मिली हैं। प्रदेश कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष गणेश गोदियाल श्रीनगर सीट से 587 मतों के अंतर से हार गए।
