टिहरी गढ़वाल:- मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने रविवार को सिद्धपीठ मां सुरकंडा देवी मंदिर रोपवे सेवा का शुभारंभ किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने इसके बाद मां सुरकंडा देवी मंदिर में पूजा- अर्चना कर प्रदेश की सुख एवं समृद्धि की कामना की। मुख्यमंत्री ने जिलाधिकारी टिहरी को निर्देश दिए कि इस क्षेत्र में स्थाई हेलीपेड के निर्माण के लिए भूमि चिन्हित की जाय।

आपको बता दें कि सुरकंडा देवी मंदिर जाने के लिए लगभग 05 करोड़ की लागत से बने रोपवे की लंबाई 502 मीटर है। इसकी क्षमता लगभग 500 व्यक्ति प्रति घंटा है। सुरकंडा देवी मंदिर रोपवे सेवा, उत्तराखंड के राज्य के गठन होने के बाद पहली महत्वपूर्ण रोपवे परियोजना है जिसका निर्माण राज्य पर्यटन विभाग द्वारा किया गया है। सुरकंडा रोपवे सेवा शुरू होने से श्रद्धालु कद्दूखाल से मात्र 5 से 10 मिनट में सुगमता पूर्वक साल भर मां सुरकंडा देवी के दर्शन कर सकेंगे।


मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि मां सुरकंडा देवी के लिए रोपवे सेवा शुरू होने से श्रद्धालुओं को दर्शन करने में सुगमता होगी। इससे स्थानीय स्तर पर लोगों की आजीविका भी बढ़ेगी। राज्य में धार्मिक पर्यटन के साथ ही साहसिक पर्यटन को भी बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि रोपवे परियोजना यात्रियों एवं पर्यटकों के लिए प्रदूषण मुक्त यातायात का प्रमुख साधन है। राज्य सरकार द्वारा केंद्र की पर्वतमाला योजना के अंतर्गत जनपदों में विभिन्न रोपवे परियोजनाओं के निर्माण हेतु कार्यवाही की जा रही है। टिहरी जनपद में लगभग 42 वर्ग किलोमीटर में फैली विशालकाय झील में विभिन्न साहसिक जल क्रीड़ाओ का संचालन किया जा रहा है। इस झील में पर्यटन से संबंधित अन्य गतिविधियों के लिए योजना बनाई जा रही है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री के मार्गदर्शन में राज्य में सभी क्षेत्रों में विकास के कार्य तेजी से हो रहे हैं। 2025 में जब हम उत्तराखंड राज्य स्थापना की रजत जयंती मनाएंगे, उस समय उत्तराखंड हर क्षेत्र में देश के अग्रणी राज्यों में होगा। चारधाम यात्रा में इस वर्ष लाखों श्रद्धालुओं के आने की संभावना है। राज्य में श्रद्धालुओं को हर सुविधा मिले, इसके पूरे प्रयास किए गए हैं।

पर्यटन मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने कहा कि मां सुरकंडा के लिए रोपवे सेवा शुरू होने से यहां श्रद्धालुओं की संख्या में तेजी से वृद्धि होगी। चारधाम यात्रा के दृष्टिगत श्रद्धालुओं के लिए हर संभव सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराने के प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। राज्य के अन्य क्षेत्रों में भी धार्मिक एवं साहसिक पर्यटन को बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा है
