इस दौरान उन्होंने के साथ कैबिनेट मंत्री धन सिंह रावत, रुद्रप्रयाग विधायक भरत चौधरी और कर्णप्रयाग विधायक अनिल नौटियाल भी मौजूद थे.

ऋषिकेश कर्णप्रयाग रेलवे लाइन के पैकेज 08 के अंतर्गत पूर्ण प्रभावित मरोड़ा ग्राम के निवासियों का पुनर्वास समय पर न होने और अतिरिक्त विस्थापित परिवारों के युवाओं को परियोजना के अंतर्गत रोजगार उपलब्ध न होने के विषय को महाराज ने रेलवे मंत्री के समक्ष रखा. उन्होंने रेल मंत्री से कहा कि रेलवे मंत्रालय द्वारा इसके निराकरण हेतु ग्रामवासियों का पुनर्वास पैकेज शीघ्र घोषित कर बेरोजगारों को परियोजना के निर्माण कार्यों में समायोजित किया जाए.
पर्यटन मंत्री महाराज ने केंद्रीय रेलवे मंत्री से योग नगरी स्थित ऋषिकेश कर्णप्रयाग रेलवे स्टेशन को पर्यटन की दृष्टि से विकसित करने हेतु भी अनुरोध किया. उन्होंने कहा कि रेलवे स्टेशन के आस-पास की भूमि पर प्रदेश का पर्यटन विभाग अनेक विधाओं का चित्रण करने के साथ-साथ राज्य में चलने वाली विभिन्न पर्यटन गतिविधियों की जानकारी देने के अलावा कैफेटेरिया, पहाड़ी भोजन एवं पहाड़ी मिठाइयों की भी व्यवस्था करेगा.
