मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने बुधवार को टनकपुर में मुख्यमंत्री कैंप कार्यालय का शुभारंभ किया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने जनसभा को भी संबोधित किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि टनकपुर में मुख्यमंत्री कैम्प कार्यालय के खुलने से क्षेत्र की जनता की समस्याओं का त्वरित समाधान तो होगा ही साथ ही उन्हें जिला मुख्यालय एवं देहरादून जाने की आवश्यकता नही पड़ेगी।
इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने क्षेत्र के लिये विभिन्न विकास योजनाओं की घोषणाएं की, जिसमें राजकीय उच्चतर माध्यमिक विद्यालय फुंगर, सल्ली, मोराडी, पल्सो, गोली, तालियाबाज एवम धूरा सहित 7 विद्यालयों का इंटर मीडिएट में उच्चीकरण किए जाने, सल्ली, नायल, हरम, बिचई, मंच, पुनेठी, ढकना बडोला कठनोली शक्तिपूरबुंगा, अमर कटिया, चेकुनीबोरा, बस्तिया सहित 12 पंचायत घरों के निर्माण, पुलिस क्षेत्राधिकारी क्षेत्र टनकपुर में स्मार्ट कंट्रोल रूम का निर्माण करने की भी घोषणा की। इसके साथ ही मुख्यमंत्री ने थाना बनबसा हेतु नवीन भवन का निर्माण करने की घोषणा की
कार्यक्रम में मुख्यमंत्री ने सभी को गणेश चतुर्थी की बधाई देते हुए कहा कि हर शुभ कार्य में सर्वप्रथम भगवान गणेश की पूजा होती है इस शुभ अवसर पर कार्यालय का शुभारंभ होना एक अच्छा संकेत है। उन्होंने कहा अब हर समस्या का समाधान कैंप कार्यालय में किया जाएगा। अपनी समस्याओं को लेकर आम लोगों को देहरादून के चक्कर नहीं लगाने पड़ेंगे। यह कैम्प कार्यालय जिलाधिकारी कार्यालय एवं मुख्यमंत्री कार्यालय देहरादून से समन्वय स्थापित कर जनता की सेवा एवं जनहित के विकास कार्यों को गति प्रदान करेगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि क्षेत्रवासियों की बहुत पहले से मांग थी कि यहां मुख्यमंत्री कैंप कार्यालय खुले इस हेतु आज इस कैंप कार्यालय को खोला गया है। उन्होंने जिलाधिकारी को निर्देश दिए कि जिला स्तर पर जिन समस्याओं का समाधान संभव है वह जिला स्तर पर ही हल कराई जाए। जो कार्य तहसीलदार उप जिलाधिकारी कार्यालय से निस्तारित होने हैं वहीं से होने चाहिए। जनता को अनावश्यक दिक्कतों का सामना न करना पड़े और समय से उनकी समस्याओं का समाधान हो। उन्होंने यह भी अवगत कराया कि विभागीय स्तर पर यह भी तय किया गया कि जिस अधिकारी स्तर पर समस्याओं का समाधान होना है वह निश्चित रूप से उसी अधिकारी के स्तर पर हल हो जाए। जनता को अनावश्यक अपनी समस्याओं के हल के लिए बेवजह देहरादून के चक्कर लगाना पड़ेगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि अधिकारी जनता की समस्या का सरलीकरण समाधान निस्तारण एवं संतुष्टि के तहत कार्य करें।
इस अवसर पर अध्यक्ष वन विकास निगम श्री कैलाश गहतोड़ी ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा जनपद चंपावत को एक श्रेष्ठ जिला बनाए जाने हेतु विभिन्न विभागीय स्तर पर लगातार बैठक कर योजनाओ का क्रियान्वयन कराया जा रहा है आज जिले में विभिन्न स्तर पर विकास कार्य हो रहे हैं। निश्चित रूप से शीघ्र ही इस क्षेत्र में विकास के नए कार्य दिखेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि यह चंपावत जिले के लिए एक सौभाग्य है कि माननीय मुख्यमंत्री यहां से प्रदेश का प्रतिनिधित्व कर रहे हैं।

इससे पूर्व माननीय मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा कैम्प कार्यालय में विधिवत पूजा अर्चना के बाद क्षेत्रीय जनता की समस्या भी सुनी जिस हेतु उन्होंने आश्वस्त कराया कि कैंप कार्यालय के माध्यम से जन सामान्य को उनकी समस्याओं का त्वरित समाधान प्राप्त होगा। मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा कैम्प कार्यालय परिसर में ध्वजारोहण किया व रुद्राक्ष का पौध रोपण किया गया।
