मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी आज ऋषिकेश-कर्णप्रयाग रेल लाइन के अंतर्गत रेलवे प्रोजेक्ट का पहला गूलर से शिवपुरी टनल ब्रेक-थ्रू का दीपक प्रज्वलित कर उदघाटन किया गया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि ऋषिकेश-कर्णप्रयाग रेल लाइन प्रधानमंत्री जी का सपना है। उन्होंने इस महत्वकांक्षी योजना को धरातल पर उतारने के लिए सभी का धन्यबाद ज्ञापित किया। प्रधानमंत्री जी का सपना है कि वर्ष 2024 तक समयान्तर्गत रेलवे लाइन का कार्य हो जाये, प्रधानमंत्री जी द्वारा लगातार रेलवे लाइन का अपडेट लिया जा रहा है। पहाड़ों में रेलवे लाइन का काम काफी कठिन होने के बावजूद आगे भी सफलतापूर्वक करने के लिए उन्होंने सभी को सुभकामनायें दी। उन्होंने कहा कि और भी रेलवे लाइनों, सड़को के निर्माण हेतु स्वीकृति मिल चुकी हैं, जिन पर शीघ्र ही कार्य शुरू कर दिए जाएंगे। कहा कि देश के सभी एम्स में से ऋषिकेश का एम्स श्रेष्ठ है।
उन्होंने कहा की प्रधानमंत्री जी का उत्तराखण्ड से विशेष लगाव है और उनके मार्गदर्शन में उत्तराखण्ड में भी सभी क्षेत्रों में विकास कार्य तीव्र गति से हो रहे है। इस बार प्रदेश में लगभग 04 करोड़ कांवडियों ने यात्रा की है, जबकि चारधाम में अभी तक लगभग 30 लाख श्रद्धालुओं/ पर्यटक पहुंचे हैं।
कैबिनेट मंत्री एवं जनपद प्रभारी मंत्री श्री प्रेमचन्द्र अग्रवाल ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री जी के मार्ग दर्शन में सभी क्षेत्रों में विकास कार्य निरन्तर हो रहे है। प्रधानमंत्री जी द्वारा पहाड़ों में रेल पहुंचाने के कार्यों को साकार रूप दिया जा रहा है।
काबीना मंत्री श्री सुबोध उनियाल ने इस योजना में अपनी भूमि देने वाले लोगों का और इस परियोजना में कार्य कर रहे सभी लोगों का धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया।
मुख्य परियोजना अधिकारी रेलवे श्री अजित सिंह यादव ने बताया कि ऋषिकेश- कर्णप्रयाग रेल लाइन की दूरी 125 किमी है, जिसमें से 104 किमी में 17 टनल बनेंगी। इस रेल लाईन में जन्दासू देवप्रयाग सौड़ सबसे लम्बी सुरंग होगी जो लगभग साढे चौदाह किमी होगी। बताया कि रेलवे के कार्यों में आधुनिकतम मशीनों का इस्तमाल किया जा रहा है, सभी टनल का कार्य समय अंतर्गत पूरा कर लिया जाएगा। इस मौके पर आयुक्त गढ़वाल मंडल श्री सुशील कुमार,डीआईजी गढ़वाल श्री के.एस. नगन्याल, जिलाधिकारी श्री सौरभ गहरवार, एसएसपी श्री नवनीत सिंह भुल्लर, सहित अन्य रेलवे के अधिकारी, जनपद स्तरीय अशिकारी, जन प्रतिनिधि मौजूद रहे।
