देहरादून:- आज सीएम धामी के उपचुनाव को लेकर चल रही सभी अटकलें समाप्त हो गई हैं। सीएम पुष्कर सिंह धामी चंपावत विधानसभा सीट से उपचुनाव लड़ेगे। आज चंपावत के विधायक कैलाश चंद्र गहतोड़ी ने विधानसभा की सदस्यता से त्यागपत्र दे दिया है। उन्होंने विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ऋतु खंडूड़ी भूषण को अपना इस्तीफा सौंपा। जिसे विधानसभा अध्यक्ष द्वारा मंजूर कर लिया गया।
आपको बता दें कि चंपावत विधानसभा सीट से भाजपा विधायक कैलाश गहतोड़ी ने सबसे पहले अपनी विधानसभा सीट छोड़ने की पेशकश की थी। जिसके बाद अब कैलाश गहतोड़ी ने आज विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ऋतु खंडूड़ी को अपना इस्तीफा सौंपा है।
इससे पहले कल शाम को भाजपा प्रदेश संगठन की बैठक हुई, जिसमें मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के उपचुनाव को लेकर चर्चा और मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के चंपावत विधानसभा सीट से उपचुनाव लड़ने की अधिकारिक घोषणा की गई।
इस दौरान कैलाश चंद्र गहतोड़ी के साथ बीजेपी के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष मदन कौशिक, कैबिनेट मंत्री चंदन राम दास, कैबिनेट मंत्री सौरभ बहुगुणा, संगठन महामंत्री अजय कुमार, विधायक खजान दास, मेयर सुनील उनियाल मौजूद रहे।
