टिहरी. गंगोत्री ट्रेक के लिए जा रहे पर्यटकों का एक वाहन ज़िले में दर्दनाक हादसे का शिकार हुआ, जिसमें 6 लोगों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई. एक बोलरो कार खाई में जा गिरी तो उसमें सवार पश्चिम बंगाल के ट्रेकिंग दल के सदस्यों की मौत हो गई. दुर्घटना इतनी भयानक थी कि वाहन 100 मीटर खाई में गिरते वक्त ही लपटों से घिर गया था.
बताया जा रहा है कि कई शव बुरी तरह झुलस गए और उनकी पहचान करना तक बेहद मुश्किल हो गया. इस हादसे की मजिस्ट्रियल जांच के आदेश दे दिए गए हैं.
उत्तरकाशी से चंबा की ओर जाने के दौरान यह हादसा हुआ. पश्चिम बंगाल से आए इस ट्रेकिंग दल में जिन लोगों की मौत हुई, उनमें से 5 पर्यटक बंगाल के थे, जिनमें एक महिला भी शामिल थी जबकि मृतक ड्राइवर उत्तरकाशी ज़िले का था. यह दल ट्रेन से बंगाल से हरिद्वार के रायवाला स्टेशन पहुंचा था और यहां से इसने गाड़ियां बुक की थीं. इस दल के अन्य लोग दूसरी गाड़ी में थे. गंगोत्री ट्रेक के लिए जाते वक्त कोटीगाड़ और कमांद के पास बोलेरो खाई में गिर गई.
एसीएमओ डॉ. अमित राय ने 6 लोगों की मौत की पुष्टि करते हुए कहा कि सूचना मिलते ही मेडिकल और एसडीआरएफ टीमें मौके पर भेजी गई थीं. वहीं, डीएम इवा आशीष श्रीवास्तव ने इस हादसे की मजिस्ट्रियल जांच करवाए जाने की बात कही. इधर, ट्रेकिंग दल के एक साथी कुशल ने बताया कि दुर्घटना के समय फोन में नेटवर्क की समस्या से संपर्क करने में दिक्कत हो रही थी. लेकिन प्रशासन को किसी तरह सूचना दी गई.
अब कमांद अस्पताल में ही ये सारे शव रखे गए हैं और वहीं इन सभी का पोस्टमार्टम किया जाएगा. गंगोत्री माउंटेनेयरिंग क्लब कोलकाता से यह ट्रेकिंग दल आया था, जो दो गाड़ियों में केदारताल ट्रेक के लिए उत्तरकाशी ज़िले की तरफ जा रहा था. बुधवार दोपहर 3.30 बजे यह हादसा हुआ और उसके बाद इस मार्ग पर भीड़ लग गई. एसडीआरएफ को दो शवों को वाहन से निकालने में खासी मशक्कत करनी पड़ी.
तहसीलदार किशन सिंह महंत के हवाले से एक खबर में बताया गया कि हादसे में मारे गए लोगों में कोलकाता के मदन मोहन भूनिया (61), उनकी पत्नी झुमुर भूनिया (59), पुत्र नीलेश भूनिया (21), 24 परगना के प्रदीप दास (47), बेडकपुर के देवमाल्या देव (43) और हर्षिल, उत्तरकाशी निवासी ड्राइवर आशीष (35) शामिल हैं. मृतक प्रदीप दास रेलवे अफसर थे तो मदन मोहन भूनिया कोलकाता में लाइब्रेरियन के पद पर कार्यरत थे.
