पंजाबी गायक सिद्धू मूसेवाला की हत्या के बाद लॉरेंस बिश्नोई से स्पेशल सेल की पूछताछ में हर दिन नए खुलासे हो रहे हैं. स्पेशल सेल की पूछताछ में सामने आया है कि लॉरेंस बिश्नोई सिद्धू मूसेवाला पर दवाब बनाना चाहता था.
लॉरेंस और गोल्डी बरार चाहते थे कि मूसेवाला उसके लिए गाना गाए.
कई बार इसके लिए लॉरेंस के गुर्गों ने सिद्धू मूसेवाला को धमकी भी दी थी. इसलिए सिद्धू मूसेवाला दविंदर बंबीहा गैंग के संपर्क में आ गये थे. लॉरेंस का भाई अनमोल भी जांच के दायरे में है, लेकिन वो अभी ऑस्ट्रिया में है.
जांच एजेंसियों के पास लॉरेंस बिश्नोई के कस्टडी से भगाने की साजिश के भी इनपुट हैं इसलिए रिमांड और पेशी के दौरान उसे जबरदस्त सुरक्षा घेरे में रखा जा रहा है. जांच एजेंसियों को खुफिया इनपुट मिली है कि अगर उसे कभी कोर्ट से जमानत मिलती है तो वो विदेश भी भाग सकता है.

इस गैंग की आमदनी का मुख्य जरिया फिरौती के लिए अपहरण, क़त्ल, जबरन उगाही जैसे काम हैं, लेकिन कब कहां क्या करना है ये आज भी जेल में बैठकर लॉरेंस ही तय करता है. लॉरेंस का गैंग पूरी दुनिया में फैला हुआ है. 31 साल के लॉरेंस बिश्नोई पर 65 से ज़्यादा आपराधिक मामले दर्ज हैं. वो एक बार पुलिस हिरासत से फ़रार भी हो चुका है.
पुलिस सूत्रों के मुताबिक कनाडा में लॉरेंस गैंग का गोल्डी बरार और सतिंदर ने ठिकाना बना रखा है, जबकि ऑस्ट्रिया में लॉरेंस का भाई अनमोल बैठा है.
टारगेट जेल में बैठकर लॉरेंस तय करता है. फिर वो पहला कमांड संपत नेहरा को देता है उसके बाद विदेश में बैठे इसके भाई और गैंगस्टर फोन कर लोगों को धमकी देते हैं.
सूत्रों के मुताबिक लॉरेंस किसी भी शूटर से खुद बात नहीं करता बल्कि कांट्रेक्टर के जरिए हर काम होता है. बताया ये भी जाता है कि लॉरेंस गैंग के तार पिछले 5 साल से मैक्सिको के ड्रग सिंडिकेट से भी जुड़े हुए हैं.
