वहीं, कैबिनेट ने सेना में शौर्य और वीरता पदक जीतने वालों की पुरस्कार राशि में एकमुश्त बढ़ोतरी कर दी है। फैसले के तहत परमवीर चक्र पर 30 लाख से बढ़ाकर 50 लाख, अशोक चक्र पर 30 लाख से बढ़ाकर 50 लाख, महावीर चक्र पर 20 लाख से बढ़ाकर 32 लाख, कीर्ति चक्र पर 20 लाख से बढ़ाकर 35 लाख, वीर चक्र पर 15 लाख से बढ़ाकर 25 लाख, शौर्य चक्र पर 15 लाख से बढ़ाकर 25 लाख, सेना शौर्य पदक पर सात लाख से बढ़ाकर 15 लाख, मैन्स इन डिस्पेच की राशि तीन लाख से बढ़ाकर 10 लाख रुपये की गई है।
