टिहरी गढ़वाल:- वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक, टिहरी गढ़वाल नवनीत सिंह भुल्लर के निर्देशन में चारधाम यात्रा के दृष्टिगत जनपद में लगातार सघन चैकिंग की जा रही है, इसी क्रम में दिनांक 04/05/2022 को समय करीब 07.00 बजे सांय को थाना देवप्रयाग को सूचना प्राप्त हुयी कि कुछ लोग जाली नोट देकर खरीदारी कर रहे हैं ।
उक्त सूचना पर तत्काल कार्यवाही करते हुये प्रभारी निरीक्षक देवप्रयाग द्वारा उच्चाधिकारीयों के निर्देशानुसार वरिष्ठ उप निरीक्षक थाना देवप्रयाग के नेतृत्व में एक टीम का गठन किया गया तथा थाना देवप्रयाग क्षेत्रांतर्गत सघन चैकिंग कराई गई चैकिंग के दौरान तहसील चौक देवप्रयाग में कुछ व्यक्तियों द्वारा पुलिस की चैकिंग को देखते हुये अपना वाहन तेजी से निकालने की कोशिश की जिस पर पुलिस द्वारा उक्त वाहन HR 10AC-9147 (WAGONR) को जबरन रोककर उक्त वाहन में बैठे 04 व्यक्तियों एवं वाहन की तलाशी ली गयी तो उनके कब्जे से 200 रुपये के 04 जाली नोट बरामद हुये जिस पर उक्त 04 व्यक्तियों की तत्काल गिरफ्तारी कर उनके विरुद्ध थाना देवप्रयाग पर मुकदमा अपराध संख्या 10/ 2022 धारा 489 ए,बी,सी भादवि के अंतर्गत अभियोग पंजीकृत किया गया ।
पूछताछ का विवरण
अभियुक्तगण से पूछताछ की गयी तो उनके द्वारा बताया गया कि हम लोग गुड़गांव हरियाणा में जाली नोटों को प्रिंट करते है तथा अलग-अलग शहरों में जाकर दुकानदारों से छोटी-छोटी चीजें लेकर नोटों को असली के रूप में चलाते हैं हम लोगों को यह पता चला कि चारधाम यात्रा चलने वाली है जिसमें भारी संख्या में यात्री आते है अतः हम लोग रुद्रप्रयाग तक गये थे जहां से हमने वापसी के दौरान कई जगह नकली नोट चलाये थे अब हमारी योजना जाली नोटों की बडी खेप लेकर उसको यहां चारधाम यात्रा मार्गों पर चलाने की थी, पूछताछ में यह भी प्रकाश मे आया कि एक अभियुक्त सचिन दिल्ली पुलिस मे आरक्षी के पद पर नियुक्त है। अभियुक्त गणों से विभिन्न स्थानों पर दिये गये जाली नोटों के सम्बन्ध में विस्तृत पूछताछ की जा रही है ।
