पंचकेदार में तृतीय तुंगनाथ की यात्रा ने नया कीर्तिमान बनाया है। पहली बार दर्शनार्थियों की संख्या एक लाख के पार पहुंच गई है। बाबा के भक्तों के उमड़ने से यात्राकाल में मस्तूरा से तुंंगनाथ तक कारोबार को भी नई गति मिली है।
26 अप्रैल से शुरू हुई तृतीय केदार की यात्रा को नया आयाम मिल रहा है। इस वर्ष प्रतिदिन औसतन 500 श्रद्धालु प्रतिदिन पहुंच रहे हैं। रविवार को शारदीय नवरात्र की अष्टमी को सुबह से मंदिर में भक्तों की भीड़ जुटी रही। दोपहर 12 बजे तक तीन हजार श्रद्धालुओं के दर्शन करते ही तृतीय केदार तुंगनाथ में इस वर्ष दर्शनार्थियों की संख्या 1,00,500 पहुंच गई।
उत्तराखंड राज्य निर्माण के 23 वर्षों में यह पहला अवसर है, जब यात्राकाल में तृतीय केदार में इतने श्रद्धालु पहुंचे हैं। यहां चोपता से तुंगनाथ तक पूरे पैदल मार्ग पर रौनक बनी हुई है। मंदिर के प्रबंधक बलवीर सिंह नेगी ने बताया, कपाट खुलने के बाद से प्रतिदिन मंदिर में भक्तों की खूब भीड़ उमड़ रही है।
यात्रा के बढ़ने से स्थानीय स्तर पर कारोबार को भी गति मिली और साथ ही कई लोगों को रोजगार मिल रहा है। मंदिर के मठाधिपति राम प्रसाद मैठाणी ने बताया, वह पिछले 50 वर्ष से भी अधिक समय से यात्रा को देखते आ रहे हैं, लेकिन तुंंगनाथ में इतने भक्त पहली बार पहुंचे हैं। इससे पूर्व तुंगनाथ में वर्ष 2019 में पूरे यात्राकाल में 25 हजार श्रद्धालुओं ने बाबा के दर्शन किए थे।
10,095 श्रद्धालु कर चुके द्वितीय केदार में दर्शन
पंचकेदार में द्वितीय मद्महेश्वर में इस वर्ष अभी तक 10,095 श्रद्धालु दर्शन कर चुके हैं। 22 मई से शुरू हुई द्वितीय केदार की यात्रा में भी पहली बार इतनी संख्या में श्रद्धालु पहुंचे हैं, जबकि अभी एक माह से अधिक की यात्रा शेष है। पंच गौंडारी व ग्राम प्रधान वीर सिंह पंवार का कहना है कि जब से उन्होंने होश संभाला, यह पहला मौका है, जब द्वितीय केदार की यात्रा में दर्शनार्थियों की संख्या 10 हजार के पार पहुंची है। बताया, कपाट बंद होने तक दर्शनार्थियों का आंकड़ा 15 हजार के पार होने की उम्मीद है।

The third Kedar Yatra, which started from 26th April, is getting a new dimension. This year an average of 500 devotees are arriving every day. On Sunday, on the Ashtami of Shardiya Navratri, a crowd of devotees gathered in the temple since morning. This year, the number of visitors to Third Kedar Tunganath reached 1,00,500 as three thousand devotees visited by 12 noon.
This is the first time in 23 years of formation of Uttarakhand state, when so many devotees have reached Third Kedar during the Yatra period. Here the entire walking route from Chopta to Tungnath is vibrant. Temple manager Balveer Singh Negi said, since the opening of the doors, a huge crowd of devotees is gathering in the temple every day.
With the increase in travel, business at the local level has also gained momentum and many people are getting employment. Temple head Ram Prasad Maithani said that he has been watching the Yatra for more than 50 years, but this is the first time that so many devotees have reached Tunganath. Earlier in the year 2019, 25 thousand devotees had darshan of Baba in Tunganath during the entire yatra period.

This is the first time that such a large number of devotees have arrived in the second Kedar Yatra, which started from May 22, even though there is still more than a month left for the Yatra. Panch Gondari and village head Veer Singh Panwar say that since he regained consciousness, this is the first time when the number of visitors to the Second Kedar Yatra has crossed 10 thousand. Told that by the time the doors close, the number of visitors is expected to cross 15 thousand.
