वही मौके पर जमा स्थानीय लोगों द्वारा जमकर हंगामा किया गया उन्होंने अस्पताल प्रबंधन को खूब खरी-खोटी सुनाई और घायलो के परिजनों ने अस्पताल प्रबंधन को जौलीग्रांट अस्पताल को रेफर न करने के बजाए एम्स के लिए रेफर करने को कहा। वहाँ मौजूद लोगों ने कहा कि सरकार उक्त अस्पताल को पीपीपी मोड़ से जल्द हटाने की कार्यवाही करें अन्यथा आने वाले दिनों में क्षेत्रीय जनता को उग्र आंदोलन के लिए बाध्य होना पड़ेगा।
