उत्तराखंड के कोटद्वार में मंगलवार सुबह दर्दनाक हादसा हो गया। कोटद्वार पोखड़ा बैजरो मार्ग पर गांव कोलादरिया के पास एक कार पंचराड़ नदी में जा गिरी।
इसमें सवार दो लोगों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई जबकि एक युवक गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया। उसका सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र बीरोंखाल में उपचार किया जा रहा है। हादसा पोखड़ा-बैजरों मार्ग पर मंगलवार सुबह साढ़े नौ बजे हुआ।
थलीसैंण के थानाध्यक्ष सतेंद्र भंडारी और क्षेत्रीय राजस्व उपनिरीक्षक प्रदीप रावत ने बताया कि कोटद्वार की ओर से एक कार बैजरो आ रही थी। अचानक गावं कोलादरिया के नजदीक कार अनियंत्रित होकर 50 मीटर नीचे पंचराड़ नदी में जा गिरी। शोर सुनकर नजदीकी गांव के लोग मौके पर पहुंचे। सूचना मिलते ही थलीसैंण थाना की पुलिस मौके पर पहुंच गई। स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से रेस्क्यू अभियान चलाया।
कार के अंदर चालक रोहित कुमार (25) पुत्र सत्यनारायण निवासी नोएडा और कुंदन सिंह (55) पुत्र ठाकुुर सिंह निवासी ग्राम कुलिंदा बीरोंखाल पौड़ी गढ़वाल मृत पाए गए। सुनील सिंह (36) पुत्र खुशहाल सिंह निवासी ग्राम पंजेणा बीरोंखाल को गंभीर अवस्था में नदी से सड़क तक लाया गया। कार दुर्घटना को लेकर स्थानीय विधायक व कैबिनेट मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने दुख जताया है। उन्होंने घायल के इलाज की समुचित व्यवस्था करने के निर्देश अस्पताल प्रशासन को दिए हैं।
घायल सुनील सिंह ने बताया कि वह नोएडा में नौकरी करता है। सोमवार शाम को कार से नोएडा अपने गांव पंजेणा के लिए निकले थे। बुधवार को उसकी ताई का श्राद्ध था। इसके लिए वह कार बुक करके आया था। सतपुली में पूर्व सैनिक कुंदन सिंह भी उनकी कार में बैठ गए। कार बैजरो पहुंचने से पहले ही हादसे का शिकार हो गई।
दोनों मृतकों का सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र बीरोंखाल में पंचनामा कराया गया। पोस्टमार्टम के बाद शव परिजनों को सौंप दिए गए हैं।
