चौहान ने कहा कि कांग्रेस की नीति हमेशा से ही प्रदेश की बेहतरी के लिए ‘न तो कुछ करने की रही है और दूसरे के कार्यो मे भी व्यवधान उत्पन्न करने की रही है। भाजपा की पूर्ववर्ती सरकार ने जनभावना के अनुरूप नए जिलों के सृजन की दिशा में काम किया था और दोबारा प्रशासनिक सुधार के लिए जरूरी इस निर्णय को साकार करने जा रही है । उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि सत्ता में रहते भाजपा सरकार के जिला पुनर्गठन के शासनादेश को जिन्होंने ठंडे बस्ते में डाले रखा अब वही 6 साल बाद खुलासा कर रहे हैं कि हमने सरकार में रहते एक दो नही नौ नौ जिले बनाने पर काम किया था ।
चौहान ने तंज कसते हुए कहा, चूंकि कांग्रेस तो इस तरह के जनकल्याण के निर्णय की कल्पना भी नही कर सकती है। यही वजह है उन्हें मुख्यमंत्री धामी की घोषणा पर विश्वास नही हो रहा है और इसे ध्यान हटाने का शिगूफा बताकर स्वयं इस महत्वपूर्ण पहल से जनता का ध्यान भटकाने की असफल कोशिश कर रहे हैं । सीएम की मंशा के अनुरूप शीघ्र ही राज्य के विकास के लिए प्रशासनिक सुधार की दृष्टि से लिया जाने वाला यह निर्णय धरातल पर उतर जाएगा । उन्होंने कहा, “प्रदेश की महान जनता को तो विश्वास है ही लेकिन इस कदम के बाद कांग्रेस को भी भरोसा हो जाएगा कि किया है करती है और करेगी सिर्फ भाजपा” ।
