उत्तराखंड के उत्तरकाशी के हिमस्खलन में नेहरू पर्वतारोहण संस्थान (एनआईएम) के पर्वतारोहियों के एक दल के फंसने के दो दिन बाद गुरुवार को 12 और शव बरामद हुए हैं.
अब तक हादसे में 16 लोगों की जान जा चुकी है. यह जानकारी संस्थान की तरफ से दी गई है. माना जा रहा है कि 15 पर्वतारोही अब भी लापता हैं. बता दें कि बीती 4 अक्टूबर को पर्वतारोही चढ़ाई के बाद लौटते समय 17 हजार फुट की ऊंचाई पर द्रौपदी का डांडा-2 चोटी पर हिमस्खलन की चपेट में पर्वतारोहियों का एक दल आ गया था. इसमें ज्यादातर ट्रेनीं थे.
बीते दिन यानी बुधवार को उत्तराखंड पुलिस ने अपने फेसबुक पेज पर कहा था कि 10 शव बरामद कर लिए गए थे. इससे पहले दिन में राज्य आपात अभियान केंद्र (एसईओसी) ने कहा कि एनआईएम के 61 सदस्यीय एडवांस ट्रेनिंग कोर्स टीम (प्रशिक्षु और प्रशिक्षक समेत) में से 4 शव बरामद किए गए थे, जबकि 30 लोग सुरक्षित बताए गए थे. उधर, लापता पर्वतारोहियों को बचाने के अभियान में जम्मू-कश्मीर के गुलमर्ग स्थित हाई एल्टीट्यूड वारफेयर स्कूल का 14 सदस्यीय दल भी शामिल हो गया है.
