उत्तराखंड के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री एवं वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस नेता हरीश रावत आज कुंडा थाना क्षेत्र के ग्राम भरतपुर जसपुर के ज्येष्ठ ब्लाक प्रमुख गुरताज भुल्लर के घर पहुंचे। इस दौरान उन्होंने शोक संतप्त परिवार को सांत्वना देते हुए ढांढस बंधाया। उन्होंने गुरप्रीत कौर की मौत को प्रदेश के स्वाभिमान पर चोट करार दिया।

आपको बताते चलें कि बीते 12 अक्टूबर की देर शाम को यूपी पुलिस के द्वारा ज्येष्ठ ब्लाक प्रमुख गुरताज भुल्लर के घर जफर नामक खनन व्यवसायी की तलाश के दौरान दी गयी दबिश के दौरान की गई गोलीबारी में जसपुर के ज्येष्ठ ब्लाक प्रमुख की पत्नी गुरप्रीत कौर की मौत हो गई थी। जिसके बाद आक्रोशित लोगों के द्वारा हाईवे जाम करते हुए काफी नाराजगी व्यक्त की गई थी और यूपी पुलिस के पुलिसकर्मियों की गिरफ्तारी की मांग की गई थी। आज शोक संतप्त परिवार के बीच उत्तराखंड के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री एवं वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस नेता हरीश रावत पहुंचे। इस दौरान मीडिया से रूबरू होते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि एक महिला के लिए उसका घर मंदिर होता है, उसका गुरु स्थान होता है, सबसे सुरक्षित होता है, ऐसे में उसकी हत्या निंदनीय है। उन्होंने यूपी पुलिस की कार्यशैली पर सवाल उठाते हुए कहा कि कितनी भी गंभीर स्थिति क्यों न थी लेकिन स्थानीय पुलिस को सूचना दी जानी चाहिए थी। स्थानीय पुलिस के आने तक घर के बाहर घेरा डाल कर बैठ जाना चाहिए था। काफी मात्रा में पुलिस वाला एक अपराधी को एक घर में ट्रेस नहीं कर सकता है ऐसा नहीं हो सकता। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार को त्वरित कार्यवाही करते हुए मामले में आरोपी पुलिस कर्मियों की जल्द गिरफ्तारी करनी चाहिए। यदि उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस कार्रवाई में सहयोग न करें तो उत्तराखंड पुलिस को कानून की मदद लेनी चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि स्थानीय लोगों ने आरोपी पुलिस कर्मियों को पकड़कर स्थानीय पुलिस को दे दिया था लेकिन अस्पताल से अगर आरोपी पुलिसकर्मी भाग गए तो भी अपराध हैं तथा भगा दिए गए यह भी अपराध की श्रेणी में आता है। साथ ही यह स्थानीय पुलिस के लिए भी शर्मनाक है क्योंकि अपराधी अपराधी ही होता है चाहे वह पुलिसकर्मी ही क्यों न हो। अगर वह उत्तराखंड पुलिस की कस्टडी से भागे हैं तो यह गंभीर अपराध है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह मामला लगातार संगीत होता जा रहा है और उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस लगातार एक्शन में है। ऐसे में दोनों राज्यों के मुख्यमंत्रियों को आपस में बातचीत करनी चाहिए तथा आरोपी पुलिसकर्मियों को दंड दिया जाना चाहिए। अगर उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस पूरे मामले में लाइन लेते हुए आरोप स्थानांतरित करने की कोशिश कर रही है तो ऐसे में हम मांग करेंगे कि पूरा मामला सीबीआई को सौंपा जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि इस तरह के मामलों के लिए ही सीबीआई का गठन किया गया है। केंद्र और राज्य सरकार को सीबीआई के बारे में पाठ पढ़ाते हुए कहा कि सीबीआई उन मामलों के लिए नहीं है जिसकी जांच सामान्य पुलिस कर सकती है सीबीआई उन मामलों के लिए है दो राज्यों के बीच विरोधाभास की स्थिति हो। हम किसी भी रुप में सीबीआई की जांच के समर्थक नहीं है क्योंकि आज की तारीख में सीबीआई केंद्र सरकार के हाथों की कठपुतली बनकर रह गई है। दोनो सरकारों और केंद्र सरकार आपस में तालमेल बैठाकर मामले की जांच सीबीआई से करानी चाहिए।
