टीम मंगलवार को उत्तरकाशी पहुंच गई थी। इस संबंध में मंत्रालय की ओर से राज्य के मुख्य सचिव डॉ.एसएस संधु को एक पत्र भेजकर टीम को जरूरी संसाधन उपलब्ध कराते हुए सहयोग करने का कहा गया था। प्रमुख सचिव लोनिवि आरके सुधांशु ने टीम के पहुंचने की पुष्टि की है।
उन्होंने बताया कि तीन सदस्यीय टीम मौके पर पहुंचकर सेफ्टी ऑडिट से संबंधित रिपोर्ट तैयार कर राज्य और केंद्र सरकार के सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्रालय को सौंपेगी ताकि भविष्य में इस तरह की घटनाओं से बचने के लिए जरूरी उपाय किए जा सकेंगे।
