Uttarakhand Transport Corporation : लंबी दूरी के मार्गों पर बसों के ठहराव समेत यात्रियों के खानपान व प्रसाधन की सुविधा के लिए उत्तराखंड परिवहन निगम (Uttarakhand Transport Corporation) ने विभिन्न मार्गों पर ढाबों का अनुबंध किया है।
दरअसल, बीते दिनों ऐसे प्रकरण सामने आए थे, जब अनुबंधित ढाबों पर यात्रियों से लूट-खसोट की शिकायत मिली थी।
लूट-खसोट की शिकायत के बाद ढाबे से खत्म अनुबंध
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी (CM Pushkar Singh Dhami) ने इस मामले में जांच के निर्देश देकर एक ढाबे का अनुबंध खत्म भी कराया था। इसके साथ ही ऐसे मामले भी सामने आए जब चालक-परिचालक अपनी मर्जी से ढाबों पर बसों को रोक रहे थे। गुरुवार को निगम के महाप्रबंधक दीपक जैन ने नए अनुबंध की सूचना जारी कर बसों का ठहराव इन्हीं पर करने के सख्त आदेश दिए हैं। परिचालकों को क्यूआर-कोड स्कैन मशीन के जरिए ढाबे की रसीद लेने के आदेश भी दिए गए हैं।

दिल्ली-नैनीताल, टनकपुर मार्ग पर
मेला रेस्टोरेंट गजरौला अमरोहा : अल्मोड़ा, बागेश्वर, भवाली, हल्द्वानी, काशीपुर, टनकपुर व लोहाघाट डिपो की दिल्ली से नैनीताल व टनकपुर आने वाली बसों का ठहराव।
शिवम टूरिस्ट ढाबा गढ़मुक्तेश्वर हापुड़ : काठगोदाम, रामनगर, रानीखेत, रुद्रपुर व पिथौरागढ़ डिपो की दिल्ली से नैनीताल व टनकपुर जाने वाली बसों का ठहराव।
नैनीताल, टनकपुर-दिल्ली मार्ग पर
कान्हा श्याम टूरिस्ट ढाबा गढ़मुक्तेश्वर हापुड़ : काशीपुर, रामनगर, रुद्रपुर, हल्द्वानी, काठगोदाम, रानीखेत, बागेश्वर व टनकपुर डिपो की नैनीताल/टनकपुर से दिल्ली जाने वाली बसों का ठहराव।
देहरादून/हरिद्वार-अंबाला-चंडीगढ़ मार्ग पर
हिमाचल ढाबा मनका-मनकी अंबाला : ऋषिकेश, कोटद्वार, हल्द्वानी, काठगोदाम, अल्मोड़ा, रुद्रपुर, रामनगर व काशीपुर डिपो की बसों का ठहराव।
चंडीगढ़ ढाबा मनका-मनकी अंबाला : देहरादून, हरिद्वार, रुड़की व टकनपुर की बसों का ठहराव।
कान्हा श्याम ढाबा नजीबाबाद बिजनौर : देहरादून, नैनीताल व टनकपुर मंडल क्षेत्र की समस्त बसों का ठहराव। जो बसें कानपुर, लखनऊ व मुरादाबाद जाएंगी वह भी यहीं रुकेंगी।

In fact, such incidents had come to light in the past, when complaints of robbery and theft were received from passengers at contracted dhabas.
Contract terminated from dhaba after complaint of robbery
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had ordered an investigation into this matter and got the contract of a dhaba terminated. Along with this, such cases also came to light when drivers and conductors were stopping buses at dhabas on their own will. On Thursday, the General Manager of the Corporation, Deepak Jain issued the notice of the new contract and gave strict orders to stop the buses only at these places. Operators have also been ordered to take the receipt of the dhaba through QR-code scanning machine.

On Delhi-Nainital, Tanakpur route
Mela Restaurant Gajraula Amroha: Stoppage of buses coming from Delhi to Nainital and Tanakpur at Almora, Bageshwar, Bhawali, Haldwani, Kashipur, Tanakpur and Lohaghat depots.
Shivam Tourist Dhaba Garhmukteshwar Hapur: Stoppage of buses going from Delhi to Nainital and Tanakpur at Kathgodam, Ramnagar, Ranikhet, Rudrapur and Pithoragarh depots.
On Nainital, Tanakpur-Delhi route
Kanha Shyam Tourist Dhaba Garhmukteshwar Hapur: Stoppage of buses going from Nainital/Tanakpur to Delhi at Kashipur, Ramnagar, Rudrapur, Haldwani, Kathgodam, Ranikhet, Bageshwar and Tanakpur depots.
On Dehradun/Haridwar-Ambala-Chandigarh route
Himachal Dhaba Manka-Manki Ambala: Stoppage of buses of Rishikesh, Kotdwar, Haldwani, Kathgodam, Almora, Rudrapur, Ramnagar and Kashipur depot.
Chandigarh Dhaba Manka-Manki Ambala: Stop for Dehradun, Haridwar, Roorkee and Takanpur buses.
Kanha Shyam Dhaba Najibabad Bijnor: Stop of all buses of Dehradun, Nainital and Tanakpur division areas. The buses going to Kanpur, Lucknow and Moradabad will also stop here.
