उत्तराखंड में पुशओं में फैल रही लंपी बीमारी को लेकर प्रशासन ने पशुपालन विभाग को सतर्क रहने के निर्देश दिए हैं। साथ ही जिले की सीमाओं पर बाहर से आने वाले पशुओं की कड़ी निगरानी और उनकी नियमित चेकिंग के निर्देश भी दिए।
कहा कि बाहर से आने वाले पशुओं की मेडिकल रिपोर्ट सही होने पर ही उन्हें जिले में लाया जा सकेगा।
जिलाधिकारी मयूर दीक्षित ने पशुपालन विभाग को राजकीय पशु चिकित्सालयों में नियुक्त क्षेत्रीय पशु चिकित्साधिकारियों को लंपी बीमारी को लेकर अपने-अपने क्षेत्र में सतर्क रहने के लिए कहा। साथ ही निर्देश दिए कि कि संबंधित अधिकारियों की ओर से संक्रमण रोग से मुक्त, मेडिकल रिपोर्ट (संक्रमण मुक्त का प्रमाणपत्र) होने पर ही जिले में बाहरी क्षेत्र से यहां पशु लाए जा सकेंगे। उन्होंने नगर निकाय व ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में जिला पंचायत को रोग के संवाहक मक्खी, मच्छरों के उन्नमूलन के लिए नियमित रूट से कीटनाशकों का छिड़काव व फॉगिंग करने को कहा है। जिलाधिकारी ने कहा कि लंपी बीमारी से पशुओं के स्वास्थ्य और पशुपालकों की आजीविका पर बुरा असर पड़ रहा है। इधर, मुख्य पशु चिकित्साधिकारी डा. आशीष रावत ने बताया कि लंपी बीमारी का अभी तक जिले में कोई मामला नहीं है। फिर भी हर तरफ से सतर्कता बरती जा रही है। साथ ही पर्याप्त दवा, इंजेक्शन का कोटा भी उपलब्ध है।
