करनपुर स्थित डीएवी कॉलेज की पीछे की दीवार बृहस्पतिवार की रात अचानक भरभरा कर गिर गई। काॅलेज के आसपास घूम रहे भाई-बहन इसकी चपेट में आ गए। हादसे में बहन की मौत हो गई, जबकि भाई गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया।
उसे निजी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है।
पुलिस के मुताबिक सुषमिता तोमर पुरोला डिग्री कॉलेज में कनिष्क सहायक के पद पर कार्यरत थीं। हाल ही में उसकी नौकरी लगी थी। उसका भाई रघुवीर तोमर देहरादून में डीएवी में पढ़ता है। करनपुर क्षेत्र में ही कमरा लेकर रह रहा है। सुषमिता अपने भाई के यहां आई हुई थी। रात करीब साढ़े आठ बजे के करीब भाई-बहन करनपुर घूमने आए थे।
पैदल अपने कमरे की तरफ जा रहे थे तभी डीएवी कॉलेज की बैक वाली दीवार भरभरा कर गिर गई। दोनों इसकी चपेट में आ गए। सूचना पर पहुंची पुलिस ने दोनों को नजदीकी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया। जहां डॉक्टर ने सषमिता को मृत घोषित कर दिया।
रघुवीर तोमर का इलाज चल रहा है। वह भी गंभीर रूप से घायल है। इंस्पेक्टर कोतवाली डालनवाला राजेश शाह ने बताया कि दीवार काफी पुरानी थी। मृतका के परिजनों को सूचित कर दिया है। शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए मोर्चरी में रख दिया गया है।
लड़की की मौत पर छात्रों का प्रदर्शन, प्राचार्य से की इस्तीफे की मांग
दीवार गिरने से हुई लड़की की मौत पर एनआईसीयू, आर्यन व एबीवीपी छात्रसंगठन से जुड़े छात्रों ने देर रात डीएवी कॉलेज में जोरदार प्रदर्शन किया। छात्रों ने प्राचार्य कार्लायल और मुख्य गेट के आगे नारेबाजी करते हुए प्राचार्य से इस्तीफे की मांग की।
छात्रों ने कहा, करीब डेढ़ महीने पहले ही कॉलेज प्रशासन को दीवार की हालत के बारे में बताया गया था। दीवार हादसे का कारण न बने इसके लिए छात्र समय रहते उसकी मरम्मत कराने की मांग कर रहे थे। लेकिन कॉलेज प्रशासन ने छात्रों की मांगों को अनदेखा करने का काम किया।
यही वजह है कि कॉलेज प्रशासन की घोर लापरवाही की वजह से लड़की की मौत हो गई। छात्रों ने चेतावनी देते हुए कहा, इस संबंध में संबंधित शिक्षकों व अधिकरियों के खिलाफ जल्द कार्रवाई नहीं की गई या प्राचार्य की ओर से इस्तीफा नहीं दिया गया तो वह उग्र आंदोलन करने के लिए बाध्य होंगे।

He is living with a room in Karanpur are itself. Sushmita had come to her brother’s place. The brothers and sisters had come to visit Karanpur around 8.30 pm.
He was going towards his room on foot when the back wall of DAV College collapsed. Both of them got affected by it. Police reached the spot after getting information and admitted both of them to the nearby hospital. Where the doctor declared Sashmita dead.
Raghuveer Tomar is undergoing treatment. He is also seriously injured. Inspector Kotwali Dalanwala Rajesh Shah told that the wall was very old. The relatives of the deceased have been informed. The body has been kept in the mortuary for post-mortem.
Students protest over girl’s death, demand resignation from principal
Students associated with NICU, Aryan and ABVP student organizations staged a strong demonstration in DAV College late night on the death of a girl due to wall collapse. The students raised slogans against Principal Carlyle and in front of the main gate, demanding the resignation of the Principal.
The students said, the college administration was informed about the condition of the wall only about one and a half months ago. The students were demanding timely repair of the wall so that it does not become the cause of any accident. But the college administration ignored the demands of the students.
This is the reason that the girl died due to gross negligence of the college administration. The students warned that if immediate action is not taken against the concerned teachers and officers in this regard or the principal does not resign, they will be forced to carry out violent agitation.
